Nobody hates us more than we do The punishment we subject ourselves to A prison cell made for us, by us Bars made of guilt Sturdy lock of self-pity Will this be enough to set us free? Convert pain from mental to physical See what we feel It feels pure in a way Make the pain visible Put it on display And drown in it Drown in its misery And only at the brink of the cliff we discover the key to our salvation which can lead to our redemption forged of tears, ire and whimpers with a silver coating of forgiveness

Long way to redemption
Nobody hates us more than we do The punishment we subject ourselves to A prison cell made for us, by us Bars made of guilt Sturdy lock of self-pity Will this be enough to set us free? Convert pain from mental to physical See what we feel It feels pure in a way Make the pain visible Put it on display And drown in it Drown in its misery And only at the brink of the cliff we discover the key to our salvation which can lead to our redemption forged of tears, ire and whimpers with a silver coating of forgiveness
