I wrapped my heart with yellow paper, and put it in a box. and wrote a letter to go with it. A few tears stained the paper, along with my messy handwriting. I sent it to your home, when you saw the package outside your door, you left it there. The package waited there all winter, snow covered my heart, and it became fragile, and cold. Not even the long walks on the burning sand, or a big blanket made my heart warm.

A colder heart than mine
I wrapped my heart with yellow paper, and put it in a box. and wrote a letter to go with it. A few tears stained the paper, along with my messy handwriting. I sent it to your home, when you saw the package outside your door, you left it there. The package waited there all winter, snow covered my heart, and it became fragile, and cold. Not even the long walks on the burning sand, or a big blanket made my heart warm.
