At the opposite end of the mirror She saw beauty she never believed in All her years she had lived in the scars of her past Sheltered by the shadows of fear She longs for a safe haven With the hope of finding a savior to pull her out of the dark This she found at the image that stared right back at her An angel, a savior that has finally been acknowledged A soul that was ready to be free She found strength in her pain She found beauty in her scars.
