Chant, Endearing Country of Thrice-Crosses bloom On how my Spoiled Parts left these Twin Bards late All for Gruning Passions permit my Gloom Admit to reach that Heart be my Un-State If I had Listened to those Songs you Sung On how Wide and Featured your Blessed Land was Would I widen my Tunes; As my Frogs have Wrung Wring Saner Decibels my Swallows cast And now, this Lone. Cry my Muses a-bate To lay their Hands bare for another chance Will I too strip my Voice for Honour's Rebate And press my Devotions for Success advance. Now this Cream - a Balm's heal for Song's delight Play the River-End; For Great Cheers incite.
