Six years gone, So I try to remind myself; No energy is lost, Not the light off their face, Not the sound of their voice. It just gets more disordered. Like our memories, It becomes a hazy mesh. Yet there was a time where it was complete, Eternal. We never die, Just become harder to understand. The light you seek, The voice you long for, Is out there. You're just in the wrong place to find it.

Now it's their birthday
Six years gone, So I try to remind myself; No energy is lost, Not the light off their face, Not the sound of their voice. It just gets more disordered. Like our memories, It becomes a hazy mesh. Yet there was a time where it was complete, Eternal. We never die, Just become harder to understand. The light you seek, The voice you long for, Is out there. You're just in the wrong place to find it.
