Islam and Christianity Politicians debate Extremists fuel a cause Well you are all wrong You sold out your humanity To be a good person is not in scripture It isn't in any dogma Believe that and your lost It is in our hearts It's how a parent teaches What a parent teaches Teach any child a religion They have a faith The majority will follow it Teach your children bigotry The majority will follow that too Teach them to love Teach them to care Teach them to aid Then regardless of their faith They will teach the same They will see humanity Morals are not a faith But a faith can support morality As to it can bolster hate So don't tell me your a Christian Don't quote Muhammad I don't care if your agnostic Just teach your children well The future is all they have Don't condemn them to our past Our mistakes Act now as time is not on our side Act now and create a proud nation A nation of all faiths united in love
