Symbolism before substance
it looks better on paper I hear
too see what has a glossy appeal
purpose that just won't adhere
it looks good too the public
then again no surface scratched
exotic and yet so domestic
no proof or substance attached
question the numbers and rhetoric
things don't add up too the sum
maybe it's sarcastic, ironic
what Corp/Government business'
become

The luster and appeal
under neon lights
rotten the orange un-pealed
the futures not happy
and/or bright
Maybe a fate
that's already
sealed
