Strolling in a garden Beauty of the flowers Roses, geraniums and all... Is beautiful and inviting to the eye, Shades of red, white and yellow, God's touch, God's architecture. Mingling among fellow men, The black, white, yellow and colored All modelled in God's liking, Then I made a discovery Like plants we belong to one family, Colour is only but a shade. Next time you judge me by colour or race, Be reminded stems are our bones, Bark and sap our flesh and blood, Skin our petals, Painted by God's gift, In many lovely ways.
