In this life Only one You will find her The love that burns That never ceases to burn in your chest Stopping clocks Whether they sleep by your side or another’s you never really fall asleep without her, you are emptiness A not quite sure, a don’t know how A love that holds up under the light That fills you up with every shade I long to undress you with words Stanzas that leave you breathless As poetry drowns you in ecstasy Drawing agony and moans from deep within Resist if you will I dare you Turn your face to the tidal wave Defy me Make me work for your love I want to beg you Please you Please only you To have these words coursing through your veins from head to toe Then back again And again And again Bound by whispered shackles Until you perspire poetry It’s all consuming And possess you To be combined Entwined by the words It was always you and I meant for this moment This love Making love Our love I love you I love you I love you TDPR
