Forever lasts a second
Time is all a lie
And yet it still controls us
We never wonder why
Clocks and watches ticking
Keeps us on our toes
Could we ever make it stop?
No one really knows
Beyond the downward spiral
Down towards the grave
That’s where lives are truly lived
But only if you’re brave
