Good deeds go unnoticed, as I try to appease your mind. Beg and bend over backwards, just to buy my own time. My face aged another year. My path no longer clear. "No longer can I live like this", to the reflection in the mirror. Suddenly I feel my age. Your smile I do not see. but the ones beyond the lighted stage, They laugh and cheer with glee. I no longer need you. I need my sanity. I will not grow any older, just to feed your apathy. Life is but a flash. less than a speck of dust. Let the music be my master, heed the master's call, I must.
