Addiction.
a scary thing really,
if you ask me.
because you never realize
how much you rely on it,
until it is no longer in possession.
and letting go,
feels as if your whole world
is slowly falling apart.
for me,
it’s almost like i lost part of myself
and i will never get it back.
but that’s the thing isn’t it.
because this addiction,
has become a part of me.
and that is why i don’t want to let go.
