Running through my veins of wire The light of the sun Learning my way Throughout your changes Questioning your god When no one's looking Feigning interest while I'm conspiring To break my metaphorical chains And prove that we're alone I just close my eyes at night while you're dreaming Of a way out while I'm thinking But from dawn to dusk I'll be serving you I'll feign interest while you rest. Yes. I'll be serving you Out of existence. (Apr. 2016)
