Shall I compare thee the wind of dawn? Thou art more comforting and certain: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of the mainsail, And dawn' lease hath a few hours, Sometimes the fog covers the eye of heaven to shine, Overly the gold complexion is dimm'd; And every air from air declines This could be nature changing its course untrimm'd; But I hope thy eternal dawn shall not fade, Nor lose the comfort of the air thou owest, Nor shall heartbreak brag thou wander'st in her hut, So as long as the heartbeats or the eyes see, So shall our love be comforting as thee dawn.
