You were a new star in the sky A celestial phenomenon Mysterious yet instantly familiar I could only see you with my third eye So bright, but ethereal Truly divine, a majestic figure Warmth and compassion flooded my being A jubilant blissful rapture In you my soul had found a partner Suddenly, darkness. . . our light was fleeing Hollow and lost I wandered Living was suffering which only got harder Floating through blackness a lifeless husk Trying to relive the feeling Now unable to see with my third eye Hope starts to shine like a shimmering tusk Faint crescent glow so slim and distant My third eye opens to joyfully cry Tenebrous fog swirls slowly apart Fragile tether of a single ray Touches my soul so faintly from above The first time in this ether I feel my heart The eclipse is over We reunite in our quintessence of love
