He's got a gun to my head Trigger man trigger man One wrong move and I'm dead Opposite wall splattered red "I gotta do this" is what he said Trigger man trigger man Tears rolling down his cheek Eyes red and glaring at me The truth hidden for none to see Not good and not going to be Depressed with life now also bitter Problems big now getting bigger Light of hope down to it's final flicker Who's the man behind the trigger? Got his life in the palm of my hand He tries to reason but no leg to stand Losing everything wasn't part of the plan Trigger man trigger man How'd I end up with this life Empty space where there should be a wife Now a gun but first there was a knife On my wrist now there's some stripes Two little ones without a father They ask are you this guy's daughters They look up sad and kinda bothered But Mom said he shouldn't be honored Pain more than I can stand Circumstances out my hands Is there anything else I can plan Trigger man trigger man Things going right till I get left Countdown to my final breath Wishing loud to a genie that's deaf Gotta bargain with the angel of death Pull the trigger and start the peace Maybe I can be the bigger man Emotions too much to release Trigger man trigger man Permission to execute the beast I wanna look in the eyes of this man I turn and there's nobody to see Because I am the trigger man
