I don't know if Puerto Rico needs more "R's". They don't use the ones they already have,  Ha.   When I first listened to my husband's family (from Puerto Rico)  speaking Spanish, I thought I had learned Spanish all wrong in school. I had to re-learn it to communicate with and understand them.  It's a beautiful language, but they sort of "mutilate" it.
