Silence is the finest sound
Weaving up and through the ground
Can't you hear that silence scream?
Doesn't it just feel a dream?
It shouts and cries at everything
while I can't even hear a thing.
That song of liquid tapestry
I learnt to test my sanity.
That tune of solid sound,
weaving up and through the ground.
Let the silence sink into bone,
wait for the sound to set in stone.
Isn't this too much to bear?
No sound in the frosty air?
Until it fades fully think back,
on how much silence that you lacked
before embers that rest at sea
tore up your body mentally.

This makes no sense, and that's the point of some of these poems. They make you think deeper. That's my excuse for being a bad poet. SO. Anyway, it's actually offering a good piece of advice. With all the chaos going about and all the homework and social media happening, it's hard to make time to be by yourself, without any siblings or moms asking you to do something. Make that change, and give yourself space. Trust me, with my step dad being a therapist, it helps to be alone. A lot.
This took me about two hours to complete. It's horrible. My poetry is far too dissatisfactory for my ELA teacher.
