Because I Love You, I will entreat of you my heart, In hopes that you will carefully cherish it. So that it may fare better in your warm caress, Then it ever fared in mine.   I know our love’s vibrant flame burns true, But it is for that reason that I must return my fragile core. Lest our love become but a dying ember, It is because I love you
