When I woke up today,
something was amiss,
I was expecting sunshine,
but I didn't expect this.
Snowflake upon snowflake,
falling across the sky.
I was quickly awake,
and I thought I knew why.
The calm beauty of snow,
it never grows old.
It relaxes my mind,
and softens the cold.
It makes me yearn,
for that inner peace.
And makes me wish for,
Snow, to never cease.

-I know it makes it hard for people to get to places but I think we should sometimes take a second to appreciate how beautiful snow is.
