and there by that exquisite pool, finishing my last lap, i saw you wading through the turquoise waters, your sculpted brown arms moving faster and faster, your toned legs hitting the water, and your eyes on me. and that’s when i realised that your goal was not the finish line like mine was, your goal was me. ©️Written by Viona Lauren 2020
