New years eve feels like yesterday. An angel arrives on a wounded planet Our fair sister Been ravaged and plundered Ripped and bit Stuck with knives in the side of the dawn. I should mention He will kindly dissent For the guest’s cards tucked The labels on our lips And the dreams we have ****** A map of the world can be found in the empty, locked computer room. On the other side of the mountain Proud monk folk draw elaborate systems with sticks in the sand And in the evenings Sip, splash and clap with their hands. I suggest to those present All of you with considerable stakes in the company To withdraw the entirety of your wealth And join us in building our sunset pier. Let's drink ‘till spring Wash away our tears.
