Gone up in flame Let's take the blame for feeding the lion All I see is the smokes that stretches to the heavy sky All I hear is doleful sounds just as the claws of the beautiful devil try When I asked why ? The response was shy to spawn The stench of the roasted innocents is what I perceive The testimonial ashes of our humble homes is all I see. Flames ! Flames !! The houses have gone to hell Even as the defenceless fell to the sharpness of their own wealth May the blood of the slain slay thee Oh! Not even the greatest scientist can easily separate the rain of tears from the salty waters What a pain What a shame to see everywhere in flame !

Flames from Niger Delta
The Niger Delta Region is blessed with abundance of crude oil which happens to be the backbone of the Nigerian Economy. Sadly, the Nigerian government takes killing of innocent inhabitants and burning of their houses as a norm and recompense for the wealth. Instead of developing the area, they make life miserable for the poppulance.
