Found in your homeland Your skin colour made you less human. You were seen as an animal before anything else Hate was declared against you for you are black Stripped off of your own identity and enslaved Your dignity lost before your eyes Shamed for your skin colour Your welcoming heart betrayed you and turned you a slave Freedom is a state of mind for reality it's a myth Black man you will never know freedom for it is a privilege Your human state will be questioned in different ways

A BLACK MAN'S CURSE
Found in your homeland Your skin colour made you less human. You were seen as an animal before anything else Hate was declared against you for you are black Stripped off of your own identity and enslaved Your dignity lost before your eyes Shamed for your skin colour Your welcoming heart betrayed you and turned you a slave Freedom is a state of mind for reality it's a myth Black man you will never know freedom for it is a privilege Your human state will be questioned in different ways
