Fuzzy occultations hide ancient light Pinpricks in the sky On a warm dreary night Orange light floods empty streets Broken by shadows With steady heartbeats Music drowned out by the rush of air "Dont push it now" With this wind in my hair Beneath me an old friend Rough and Reactive With wounds I could never mend Steady now, as I let myself down Plastic and rubber melt As my foot comes down Even for all that thrill "Why do I always go out here?" After a moment all is still A shadow stumbles idly by "Its beautiful out here, even if im the only one" As I look up towards the sky Cathartic and Beautiful "Where to go now? Should I really stay out?" And strangely unusual Look up and down, and all around "How come its gotta be so clear?" I'm not sure I understand what I've found Foot forward and back "No no, dont think too much" I'm on my way back Cold blue doors slam shut "I've got this old feeling in my gut" I just don't know what
