A younger man than me had asked if ever I regret the past. "Before I answer such a question, might I make a small suggestion?" Curiosity at its peak, the boy waited for me to speak. "Don't let your regrets go on long or life, you'll find, will turn out wrong." "How long have been your worst regrets?" The boy began to place his bets. "Slow down child, don't start your betting. I'll let you know... when I'm done regretting."

A Reckless Question
A younger man than me had asked if ever I regret the past. "Before I answer such a question, might I make a small suggestion?" Curiosity at its peak, the boy waited for me to speak. "Don't let your regrets go on long or life, you'll find, will turn out wrong." "How long have been your worst regrets?" The boy began to place his bets. "Slow down child, don't start your betting. I'll let you know... when I'm done regretting."
