I had a dream I carried a torch through an endless field. The darkness seeped like ichor as endless as the stars. It seemed to carry on for eternity, Until the hungry sea gazed at me from below a cliffside. I tripped, sending the cherry flames over the edge And saw it swallowed by ravenous waves of grey. But still it burned.

Wrote this for a poem collection, probably my favorite poem I've written :)
