Soaking feet in river
Racing around the world of dreams
Me and you and you and I.
Climbing up the trees
We were wild like the grasses green
Everyday a newborn star shined in our eyes.
Now we are bold and older
And has lost the innocence along the way
Something which shined has now faded.

Soaking feet in river
Racing around the world of dreams
Me and you and you and I.
Climbing up the trees
We were wild like the grasses green
Everyday a newborn star shined in our eyes.
Now we are bold and older
And has lost the innocence along the way
Something which shined has now faded.
A poem which reflects how we loose our innocence as we grow older.
