I've been stared at for so long Staring back at your puzzled face I want your strokes to seep into me And make me come to life You tentatively touch me in violet The passion grows and I become a face I am colors of the sky On its most beautiful night Once flat I am now bursting at the seams Rejuvenated and pleased I lay proudly for other faces to see
