It came again tonight, Crawled under my skin, though my veins, And into my heart, It's vile seed rooting in my flesh. Poisoning my blood, Spreading through my body, infecting my brain, Smothering my mind, Like a corrupting vine. Which each breath I can feel, Its controlling getting stronger; With each heartbeat I can feel, It's growing deeper. Maybe if I cut my heart open, I could rip it out. Maybe if I cut my heart open, It would finally stop. Maybe if I cut my heart open, I could feel better.
