I want to bask in the complexity of your mind Unravel your riddle and peak at you inside I wanna read between your lines As I lose myself between your eyes In the hopes you’ll let me near And let me feel the warmth between our prides Let me inside your world, with your defenses softened We’ll rebuild your walls, with me as your guardian Don’t leave me in the cold, cuz you are my sovereign, I’ll follow you to the depths of your soul I beg you not to cast me as a burden.

The Shape Of Your Defenses
I want to bask in the complexity of your mind Unravel your riddle and peak at you inside I wanna read between your lines As I lose myself between your eyes In the hopes you’ll let me near And let me feel the warmth between our prides Let me inside your world, with your defenses softened We’ll rebuild your walls, with me as your guardian Don’t leave me in the cold, cuz you are my sovereign, I’ll follow you to the depths of your soul I beg you not to cast me as a burden.
