I see him in the distance, My shining white knight. He didn’t break every barrier, But he always tried. He always kept moving, For he knew there was no true safe path, When you stood still it crumbled under your feet. I look at the man in front of me; A Fool, Myself devolved. A man who has learned how to endure, But has forgotten how to survive. I look once more at the man in the distance, For I know I want him back.

My Champion
I see him in the distance, My shining white knight. He didn’t break every barrier, But he always tried. He always kept moving, For he knew there was no true safe path, When you stood still it crumbled under your feet. I look at the man in front of me; A Fool, Myself devolved. A man who has learned how to endure, But has forgotten how to survive. I look once more at the man in the distance, For I know I want him back.
