I am lost The flow of my blood has been muddled with tar Everywhere I turn there is darkness Will I ever see light? My life seems so far away I only faintly remember the days of school, Of my studies and the path I was to lead From all of which I have run away I was so focused But I became consumed with passions Quick passions, so easy to achieve And I pursued these newfound joys I was supposed to be a doctor I was meant to heal But now I don’t help anyone I just stick myself with the needle
