Try putting a Shel Silverstein type style to it. To do that maybe add a sense of silliness to it and rhyme it if you want.

I can definitely relate to the message of this poem.  It has a lot of potential, and I think with a little effort it could be even better.  

Another comment suggested making it more sing-songy, which may out may not be the direction you want to go in.  Lie he said, it adds some silliness, which could make the poem relatable and funny and add a bit of lifewhile stl communicating frustration.  But you might want to take it more seriously.

I suggest expanding on that middle section some more (the one beginning with "cliches").  Develop you ideas a little more, adding in some concrete images to illustrate your point.  I often fall into the trap of using purely abstract language, and a few descriptive, original metaphors can go a long way.

Think about the feeling you want to communicate, and communicate it in sentence length and style.  You did that really well in the last section, where your sorry words and line breaks drove the point home in a straightforward way.  To build-up  frustration, you could add complicated, run-on sentences before the ending. This would also contact with the repetition at the beginning and the simplicity at the end.

Just my suggestions!  You already show deep thoughts, complex emotions, and inventiveness with style.  Keep it up!  You're doing great.
