I love this one Bala, I realize now that even after I'm long long gone, if the stuff I've written is still around, even if maybe in an box of family heirlooms my in great-great-great-grandkids' attic, or as a digital remnant with the immortality of the Internet. And sure, in the Information Age people leave fingerprints everywhere long after they've past, but in art, you put a piece of yourself into it in someway, so adding up all those fragments, you can get a sense of who that person really was, almost feeling as though you know them, even a century later.
