You, who give hope for my hopelessness
You, who draw sunshine in my stormy days
You, who look at me like a precious stone
And you, who never make me feel alone
You, who helped me overcome my fear
My fear to love and to trust again
To trust again requires patience
Patience to wait and to understand
To understand leads to a lot of hardship
But every hardship is worthy,
As long as we have you and me
