It was the dark that saw me. The light was gone, nothing uplifted me, my sorrow all consuming, my heart skewered. It was the dark that held me. Shackled to an abyss of hopelessness, time stilled, my mind reeled into nothingness, fear abound, doubt in abundance. It was the dark that knew me. Calling my name, acknowledging my pain, embracing me, holding me dearly, so close, so friendly. It was the dark that made me whole. Filling me with hollowness, pouring into my soul, caressing me, arousing me, making me explode in relief, energising me with grief.

Inside Dark

Shackled to an abyss of hopelessness, time stilled, my mind reeled into nothingness, fear abound, doubt in abundance. It was the dark that knew me. Calling my name, acknowledging my pain, embracing me, holding me dearly, so close, so friendly. It was the dark that made me whole.
