I look at the the moon and wonder why things are more tranquil there than here... then I remember it's because humans do not exist on the moon.

this creates some strange context when I consider that the moon is covered in diamond sharp sand and dust that kills you to even breathe... erodes away your only protection... and makes your health impossible to upkeep for more than 6 months

Emily,
I&#8217;m not someone who would be in your social orbit. But I think I may be  in your &#8216;spiritual&#8217; orbit. The moon fills me with a strange and powerful longing. It always has- even when I was younger than you. I might just think of you now, Emily/ Korea, when I see a beautiful moon and am without a person to long for.
