When they said she was broken I imagined a contract in which she sighed herself away To a guy she thought loved her I imagined her going home to a family of doubts and hate When they said she was broken I imagined an image of her reflecting in a broken mirror When they said she was broken I thought to myself “this is the most beautifully broken person that I’ve ever seen...I’ve got to say hi” When they said she was broken I realized that i had work to do I turned my smile into a wrench and my heart into a hammer and asked “How can i fix her?”
