Why make resolutions?
When you know you're not going to keep them?
Why go into the New Year's under false pretense.
To many it doesn't make any sense.
All the excuses we're going to hide behind.
Only prove to many you was lying.
While you still hide behind denial of the truth.
When your honesty would surely do.
Face, the New Year's will openess.
That you can only do your best.
This will say so much.
When you're put to the test.
Why try to impress?
When we only need to confess that we going to try to do.
When we aware we might not be able too.
