when i was still little, i was right beside a window, catching all that beaming rays, from a giant fire ball that glows, while my parents watch me grow, in a vase created years ago; when i was still young, i'd receive a shower every afternoon, thinking of the happy ducks swimming at the lagoon, hearing the cheerful creatures up in their nest croon, wishing i'd also be that happy soon; after all the sunlight, all the amount of water i needed, it was as though the vase was a sandbox, my colors have faded, i am withered. but wrapped around a tiny bow, was a glimpse of hope, the sky has bestowed upon a withered flower in a modern meadow, replacing the sandbox with healthy soil i've longed for, making the colorful rainbows i've dreamt of, the blissful moments i feared to be impossible, become attainable; i've never been this hopeful in my life eversince i was born, not until you came.
