The darkness falls All around. No whisper heard They make no sound. Consuming light Before their eyes. Choking life Illumination dies. Spreading through their veins Eating at their flesh. Darkness is inside them Awaiting certain death. Nothing can be seen Nothing can be heard. All that can be felt Is the cold dying earth. The evil is among us all Draining all our strength It wont allow survival Our lives have shortened length. The darkness has fallen Evil has won We cannot be proud Of what we have done.

Darkness Falls
The darkness falls All around. No whisper heard They make no sound. Consuming light Before their eyes. Choking life Illumination dies. Spreading through their veins Eating at their flesh. Darkness is inside them Awaiting certain death. Nothing can be seen Nothing can be heard. All that can be felt Is the cold dying earth. The evil is among us all Draining all our strength It wont allow survival Our lives have shortened length. The darkness has fallen Evil has won We cannot be proud Of what we have done.
I was aiming to describe our planet's future, if evil ever fully took over. and how we would all be to blame. Written in high school 2004/5.
