Why would you even ask Why I've been saddled with such a task. To know what I do and not to share it Any sane man could not bare it The truth of the world the lies we've been told To try and keep us within the fold, Of ignorance, deceit, subterfuge and defeat Of guilt, shame and sorrow No hopeful tomorrow. We can do nothing Its already too late To try an return to our original state. So here we all are beleagured and lost Our children are the ones who will bear the cost
