Today was the day. I broke my ties, snapped my vines and like a flower to the sun ran and ran and ran toward freedom, until the day was done. Ran to a world I've never known, one where my mind doesn't tell me to stop, where my legs take me anywhere I want. Ran to a time where I don't feel ashamed, of who I am and what I have become. Ran to a place called love, that frees me from the sins in my heart. It's the only place... where I can feel the warmth of the sun.

*Like a Flower to the Sun*
