I caught the sun with my hand Kneeled down and put you in you were lost like the winters wind that the birds flew south breathe in you were found in a garden like a gnome a queen without her throne now we watch the sinking ships in the water where the mandolin flows yes, ive seen a fish swim backwards up stream from Pompeii luckily for you and me we are paperwieghts theres a cloud oversight with no water to fall we were lost in a cyberswamp where puddles are in debt to the rain do you can see the strings hang from the tallest building in sight? feel these chords I play and hear these words I say when theres a leak inside our minds the walls start to rot and when the dam gives in to the rain it's all that we've got left
