dagger to the heart came so quick time flew by, not even a lick my eyes were glassed over unable to see all of the lies written in front of me but those lies weren’t lies they were hidden truths now i have lost all of my roots the silver drops, they wont stop all my attempts were a flop it should've been face to face but now i’ll just have to a make haste too much confidence, too much pride made me lose who i am both out and inside those who were closest now farthest away my only wish is that you choose to stay the glass is shattered i now see in colour colours that ring true like no other i ruin things i always do so maybe it’ll be better for me and you if i leave
