and hear in the Varrio
on my block.....

resounds with me
and I must give him
credit for at least
two or three. . .
Pearls of wisdom that Mellifluously flew
from his mouth...
inspired by something
deep in his soul
that had to come out
which my hand
snatched from his air
to pencil as poetry
