Your gaze shoots right through me like a speeding bullet, I know it's not meant for me but it fills my soul with a joy like none other. Your smile, like the most perfect sheen of a knife, cuts through my heart like butter. I know they glisten not for me, but I can't help but count each white horse as they stand still. Your warmth like the radiant sun so sweetly gleaming, fills my soul with compassion. I know it's all in kindness, but I can't help but wish it were something more. Your hair like a flowing river, shines in the bright summer light. I know it's not for me, but for another.
