head in the clouds
drink in my hand
Lemon shirt
and on this day
lime green shorts. chinos
bald head glowing in the sun
coming in my windows
basking in its warm glow
curtains shut
mind open
finding the words
to make this poem grow
remembering the thing I had
like my mind
the thing I lost years ago
just put it down
now so hard to find
time has to come
when a man will changes
think my change is past
and looking forward
to my dying day.
