Leaves fall in the space between you and the truth and me. Furious reds and bittersweet ochres stain damp sidewalks and memories. The cold and the dark conspired to ruin this year. I let it collapse until I didn't, and I wish I knew how it worked itself out. But I don't.

Autumn
Leaves fall in the space between you and the truth and me. Furious reds and bittersweet ochres stain damp sidewalks and memories. The cold and the dark conspired to ruin this year. I let it collapse until I didn't, and I wish I knew how it worked itself out. But I don't.
